when there are not enough coaches.

This is a great practice tool. In fact, I use six of these in my regular practice. We use them for target practice because I love it when kids jump hurdles and it's rarely practical (or even wise) to use coaches and/or parents as the body for all of these drills. By the way, I think the live quarterback is also very important. But these D-men (the football equivalent of a blocking dummy) allow your coaches to take their mind off the drill and really focus on details like shooting technique that are harder to focus on when you're busy. Drill the part yourself. The adjustable size makes them suitable for all ages. I use water in the base, not sand. I had no problems with that. I've been using the six I have now and have been training twice a week for over a year. No problems or failures to date.

Pros
  • Ideal practice partner; Get the perfect exercise partner with the sklz d man, a wearable protective manikin; Help perfect your bow, practice passing players, or improve your floats; D man helps you visualize the opposition so you can practice on your own
Cons
  • Nothing here
