When they arrived I was a bit disappointed and realized how small they are. I had the opportunity to work with them in the studio and found a way to get them working. If you roll it in multiple directions, being careful not to get thick lines from the blank edges, you can still get a decent look. In general, they roll well and produce a good, deep impression. They're a well-balanced, solid weight, but again, it all comes down to size. Another thing I didn't care for was the blind ends mentioned above. You really need to be extra careful when stamping a design in clay. Tip: Do not clean after use. Dried clay on them will eventually break them and they won't stick. Or you can always use some cornstarch either on the clay or on the roller itself.
