Must throw it away. It doesn't dissolve in cold water, and I don't think it dissolves in hot water either. I have to fill a glass jar with hot, hot tap water, add a spoonful of detergent, and shake it like crazy to partially dissolve it before adding it to the wash. After that, he still hadn't completely dissolved, but of course he didn't want to spend it. I knew it wasn't going to dissolve when I noticed white stains on my black viscose pants that I had washed in cold water and dried. I've also noticed white spots on other clothes. They brush off with some effort, but I don't have to shake the detergent off my clothes. I really, really wanted an alternative to plastic detergent containers so I'm disappointed. I've also noticed some irritation on my skin even though it's odorless. There have been several episodes of severe itching so it must be thrown in the trash. I want this to work for me.
