After spending several thousand dollars on furniture for our living room and dining room I wanted something simple for the hallway. It was an inexpensive yet attractive way to add a small bench and storage space without breaking the budget. I know he can handle at least 200lbs and up and he doesn't seem to have any problems. It took about 20 minutes to assemble, and although it required two people, one of them simply held the lid on the bench to avoid pinching the other's fingers. I would recommend this to anyone wanting extra, unobtrusive seating or storage.
