We have been softening well water and have been purchasing bottled drinking water for years. Finally, it was decided to install a reverse osmosis system for drinking water and ice. I always try to research any product I'm unsure about before I buy and install it, so hopefully I only have to do this once. After reading reviews and a few YouTube videos, I decided to buy an iSpring system with a booster pump. The booster pump seemed like a good option for the well due to the variable pressure. The system says it can be installed under the sink I'm sure of that but since we have a basement I decided to put it under the sink in our house. utility room. After setting up the system in the basement, I also decided to add an Aquatec pressure pump to provide more constant pressure to the faucet and ice maker. The lack of good pressure seems to have been a common complaint with many of the reverse osmosis systems I reviewed. So far so good with both the reverse osmosis system and the optional on-demand pump. The water tastes good and the pressure matches the ice maker and faucet. With the booster pump of the iSpring reverse osmosis system, the pressure vessel is filled in less than an hour. The booster pump doesn't make much noise, but the on-demand auxiliary pump does make noise, so I'm glad I can put it in the basement as it always works when you're using the faucet.
