It's very lightweight which is great for clipping to clothing. It won't bring you down like that. The volume of the speaker is sufficient, the clarity is very good. Audio reports from those on the receiving end are fine. No one knew it was such an inexpensive little device. The audio from the headphone jack is also very loud and clear, making it great for private listening. The top switch lights the LED on the front panel, but the bottom switch does not. This is a handy feature that lets you know which "side" (A/B) of the radio you are transmitting on. This is a neat feature and requires a lot of guesswork to use. You can send both touch and visual confirmation on "side” A or B. All in all, this is a nice little UV-82 accessory.
