This product is truly amazing. I bought a set of (semi)rare headlights for my Ford Focus at a very low price and the only catch is that they have definitely been used for the 12 years that they were used on the previous car. To start, I used 400-600-1000-1500-2000-2500 wet sandpaper to remove all of the oxidation. I worked pretty hard on this, probably 30 minutes per fixture going through different grits. Then I made sure the headlights were clean and started using them. The first few apps were disappointing, but don't let that fool you. I then applied a fairly thick layer of this material, rubbed it in very well and let it dry for at least 30 minutes. After that I took a microfiber cloth (clean) and buffed these headlights to BRAND NEW. Well, not quite, but somewhere 99% of the way there. the sandpaper left some loops (but it's my fault for using such a fine grit at first, I recommend starting at least 600). These headlights are beautiful now. I will continue to reapply as instructed from time to time to keep these headlights looking like new.
