1600 - good design good performance good customer service

For my daily commute I was looking for the brightest bike headlight without external batteries that would also charge with a USB cable and I found this model 1600. The battery life is for me no problem as my rear light (of the same brand) goes out before this front one. Even with continuous use at the highest level (1600 lumens). I also like the overheat protection feature and the ability to toggle between settings. It also snaps into place well after the strap is installed. This. I don't have to unbuckle the strap every time. I see cars hitting their brakes instead of clipping the daytime flare in front of me. After not using it for 2 weeks, the battery did not charge. Customer service took care of the repair/replacement as the warranty was 1 year. Fingers crossed the battery won't fail again. 3 year update: great light! I have had him for 3 years now. I drove over 3000 km with it. At 17, it was the flashlight with the highest lumen without an external battery. Competitors currently have higher lumen units, but 1600 is more than enough (more than your car's high beam) and this one seems to have longer runtime, a great wide beam and daylight flash with higher lumens. I still love the 1600 lumen daytime flash! He stops cars from the side that want to cut you off. I've used it a few times to do some singletrack MTB stretches and it's good for that too. Small cons: As said above, my battery failed after 11 months, the support service replaced it. Good service. The handlebar clamp wore out (device fell forward or backward) until it broke. I used a spare clip from a spare block that was sent to me when I was 11 months old. A small protrusion of the rubber charging port cover broke off. Now you need to poke a needle to open the charging port. That means it's probably no longer waterproof, but it should be fine because it's on the bottom and I don't submerge my flashlight in water. Despite these disadvantages, if I had to replace it now, I would buy the exact same device again.
