As a single person I can wash and iron clothes, but I don't have to sew. From time to time I need to have my polo shirt or pants repaired. a wash [I hadn't opened one yet, but it will only be a wash or two] The hem can be completed in less than 5 minutes. Time will tell if this repair will last for years/months or just a few washes. Even if repairs have to be redone in a few months, I'll likely 'find' a folding/ironing problem that puts me and the repair tools in the same space. Since repairs can be completed in such a short amount of time, it's a useful tool to have on hand.
