You don't stay.

Used exactly as intended on clean washed jeans. warm water with cold rinse, all four patches are peeled off, you can just peel them off. This isn't the first time we've used iron-on patches for blue jeans, those used in the past always stayed in place until it was time to toss the jeans. I thought the Singer brand would be good, not a real waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Once the fabric is fused, the fabric can be washed and dry cleaned.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Not very helpful

Decent amount for the price. Ease of use and application. Works as advertised but not the "hard work" that even normal work would do, I compare?! The ironed part lends itself easily and loosens with slight tension. The ironing seam came open in a gentle cycle. Overall disappointed. Used on royal pillowcases to fold and "sew on" the extra material to fit under a standard sized pillow without all that loose extra material. Might work better on issues that aren't as badly affected? LOL who knows.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

A decent tool for a man to own and use.

As a single person I can wash and iron clothes, but I don't have to sew. From time to time I need to have my polo shirt or pants repaired. a wash [I hadn't opened one yet, but it will only be a wash or two] The hem can be completed in less than 5 minutes. Time will tell if this repair will last for years/months or just a few washes. Even if repairs have to be redone in a few months, I'll likely 'find' a folding/ironing problem that puts me and the repair tools in the same space. Since repairs…

Did what my sewing machine couldn't

My wife and I just used 17 packages of this material to make 6-58 x 96 and 6-58 x 84 inch thick panels of eyelet duck fabric. Her old Necchi Alco sewing machine couldn't handle the weight and length of the heavy canvas, although she never had a problem with shorter curtains. With 6 x 6-8 foot windows and a sewing machine that took over an hour to sew a side seam despite numerous repairs due to jams and broken needles, she ordered a package to see if it would work. It was done with honor. It was
