After about two months, the lower knee started leaking. Four screws checked. (I knew I should have tested this before putting it on the truck). I tightened the bolts as far as I was comfortable (it's plastic after all) and it was still leaking. I went in a second time to tighten a little more and also add some Loctite and to my surprise these bolts didn't even come with any type of threadlocker from the factory. Seriously, too much Denso consumption? Added Loctite and tightened even more and it STILL leaks. I'm going to remove this completely and check what I think the o-ring behind that bolted crank flange is to see if it's damaged and what's causing the leak. Unless there's an obvious defect or one I can't fix with an O-ring, I'm sending it back! Too bad, because according to the manufacturer I have to bear the return costs.
