AC Leak Detector UV Lamp
The lamp is powered by a car battery and is much brighter than those powered by flashlights. Our shop uses both types and I prefer the Mastercool lamp. It's bright enough to spot small leaks and conveniently comes with amber lenses to make leaks more visible. You don't have to pick up a UV lamp only to find that the flashlight's batteries are dead and you can't find a leak. The cable is very long. You can put the car on a lift and still see the lamp underneath. The only downside is that the lamp gets hot with prolonged use and may need a cool down period.
