On the other hand, it works. I got this because the original star brush my Roomba came with was broken. Installing the filter and rotating brush was easy - in minutes. However, installing this star-shaped thing was a different story. As several other reviewers have pointed out, the screw that came with the Roomba does not fit the replacement hole. So it took me some time with my dremel to widen the hole. Not too difficult, but I imagine a lot of people won't like it. The same thing. The replacement is much softer than the original. After the replacement, my Roomba seems to be working fine (I think the biggest difference is with the filter) but I have hardwood floors throughout so it's not that big of a deal. Except for the inconvenience of fixing that hole. I am very happy. Will I buy the original next time? Maybe, maybe not. Since the set consists of several parts, I think there will be something to answer in a few years. don't rush to grab the originals now.
