Review on Little Automatic Hydroponic Submersible 1200GPH by Alan Pfeiffer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great for the application I needed

I had a problem with water coming up from the ground in my duct and flooding part of my basement several times a year when it rained heavily. Rather than opening the trap further to drain it (and risking the sewer to rise again), I tried to find a small profile pump with an automatic trigger. After hours of searching I settled on this and it has been working great for the past few months or so. It fits in the small space between my sewer pipe and the side wall of the trap, which is a space about 6" x 12" and 8" deep with a bottom of dirty mud and a few rocks. It pumps water about 7". Feet up before it hits my front yard with a standard garden hose. The pressure in the spout indicates it can probably still pump water to a height of 10-12ft and possibly more with ease. The trigger doesn't fire it until the water is a few inches above its base but I have no problem with that I have no defects to report yet.
