I have used various pumps for 40 years and they all fit garden hose adapters. 3 outlets with different diameters (1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2") to adapt to different hose sizes depending on the flow. The larger the flow, the wider the outlet needs to be. I have different ones Tried adapters for this pump and none of the adapters attached to a regular garden hose worked.

I rarely write reviews, but this pump really convinced me. I have a 25,000 gallon pool that I had to drain about halfway through to refill and put the chemicals back where they belong. I did some research and also bought a 1.5" backwash hose to use with the pump. Obviously, a small garden hose will take much longer. Well after about 3 hours the pool dropped to about half a point. I was impressed to say the least! It was a great purchase and I would buy again.

Used this to drain my 20,000 gallon pool. I used a 1 inch drain hose and the pool drained in about 7 hours. The auto shut off feature is great, it prevents the pump from running dry. I wish the instructions were a bit better but still I had no problems other than getting a drain hose. It would be nice if they specified a matching hose as an accessory. I bought a Revain drain hose. Unfortunately, the hose I bought is only 20 feet long and doesn't reach from my drain to the middle of my pool. So…

This pump is a terrible product. It was delivered to me on 05/04/21 and put into service on 05/10/21. The pump started working quickly on 8/5/21. I use a pump in a relatively small pool in my backyard -- 15 feet long, 4.5 feet wide, and 3.5 feet deep -- to pump water about 6 feet to a rocky waterfall. Great little pump that helped us empty our underground pool so we can clean it after years of neglect. While the ad says it removes dirt up to an inch in diameter, that's a misleading description. We had protruding seaweed, small leaves and some sand. Leaves often had to be removed from the inlet and sand settled in the discharge pipe shortly after leaving the pump. I have drain issues in my driveway and yard and needed something that would automatically divert heavy rainwater from my house and driveway when needed. I have used heavy duty 5 gallon buckets with lids to create a pool drainage solution without having to spend a lot of money.
