Review on D-Link Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor and Alarm Starter Kit: Ultimate Whole Home Protection with App Notification, AC Powered, No Hub Required by Napoleon Robbie

I was apprehensive about my purchase after reading some bad reviews but I pulled the trigger because I had many other devices of different brands installed and had no problems. First of all, this application uses Bluetooth to find the device for initial setup. You then use your phone's camera to scan the code on the head unit and finally enter your Wi-Fi information. This took about 5 minutes. Everything worked smoothly and I didn't turn on "Airplane Mode" as some other reviewers recommended. I also easily set up the sensor in Google Home. After installing and configuring, I tested the main unit and the battery powered unit. Both turned on the alarm and sent notifications immediately. The only downside, and it's not a big deal, is that the water-sensing cable doesn't lay flat without being weighed down. They include some plastic clips that can be used, but the tape on the clips won't stick to my rough concrete basement floor. I can't comment on the durability of this product but for now I would recommend this device.
