Works well but there are some side effects.

So I'm new to the gym, go about 4 times a week and use these protein shakes and powders to get rid of the need to take naps after work. This remedy is probably the best that I know of personally (I've tried maybe a dozen different types of powders), but there are some weird effects that you should probably be aware of. Don't do this in advance. The reason I say this is because I made a 1 scoop 16oz container of water (it can taste pretty strong to make it easier to consume) and kept it in the fridge. Two days later I take it out and have a sip and I feel like I've used up the battery acid. I'm not just talking about the strong taste, it physically burned my throat and esophagus. This won't happen if you drink it right away, so there must have been a chemical reaction that caused it. 2. This can only be me, but it hurts in every pore of my body. Although not for long, after about 30 minutes (on consecutive days) the skin on the head, arms, back, legs, whatever, just tightens and seems to burn/itch at the same time. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it might be a bit inconvenient. It doesn't last forever, but I'm sure it might scare some people. Whether it's safe to consume I can't say, but I know it works pretty well. I used to have trouble completing a 10 minute session on the elliptical, but after a few weeks I can go up to 40 minutes without a break, and I'm only finishing that because I measure it against Iron Fist episodes :)
