Purchased to install over our kitchen cabinets. They are very bright and the color at 5000K is a true neutral "bright white" rather than daylight which is more bluish and colder. Outstanding color rendering. Installation was easy, although no plugins were included. Instead, I got a full power cord with a switch for each strip that just plugs into existing ports. I connected the outlet to the main power supply from the wall and plugged the first device into it and then plugged in the rest. Light. Six 24-inch strips effectively illuminate an entire kitchen with no natural light. All I would say is that they get unusually hot for LEDs and the wires to the light from the switch where they are installed are very thin. Overall, I am very satisfied with this banding device.
