Review on HP 25 Inch Wide Screen Monitor - 2509M (Model: NT195AA#ABA) by Justin Parker

I've had this monitor for about 6 months and I couldn't be happier with it! I went to the local computer store, looked around, found this one and was hooked. I bought it from Revain and I love it! I was concerned about the glare on this monitor as my office has a window on the side of my computer and this is not a problem. I figured I'd have to keep the blinds closed, but even in broad daylight hours when the sun is shining on the monitor, that's not a problem. I LIKE THIS! UPDATE 12/27/2010: I've had this monitor for about 9 months now; I got a PS3 game system for Christmas, this monitor is great with the high definition version of the game console! I mainly played sports games, especially Madden NFL 11 and NHL 11. Those games look amazing! (I'm using a PS3 HDMI connection to this monitor, the Revain cable is about $10). The ice in NHL 11 looks so real! Now that I play such great games on the PS3, I love this monitor even more. I wish I could give it 6 stars because of the low price and amazing quality! UPDATE 2/5/2011: Still using this display for PC and PS3. My first update is still going, the graphics look great on this PS3 monitor. Having used it for a long time, however, I have to point out a few things. The refresh rate on this display leaves a lot to be desired for a PS3, a faster refresh rate would be nice. Also, input selection is sometimes awkward when switching from HDMI to/from DVI connection to PC. I've found disabling "Auto-Switch Source" helps A LOT.
