Two weeks and it's working great. I run it between 30-50% on my 75g salt water. I was able to remove the 525 GPH power head and still double the flow. I use feed mode more often than I could. However, wave modes are not very good. I use constant mode because the wave pulses are so close together that I'm afraid the motor will wear out quickly. I've already had a Sand Sifting Starfish that lost 1.5 limbs. The rudders were not damaged, although they made strange noises and barely worked until they cleaned and removed the starfish. The starfish has now survived for over a week and continues to climb the glass and jump up, confirming that it is an adrenaline junkie. The other two large sanders I have mostly stay in the sand. I keep the pump itself about 4-5 inches from the water level. I get true circular flow through the entire tank and no dirt builds up on my rocks/sand. This is a densely populated and overfed tank destroyer. Between my starfish, shells, and that creek, my sand never needs cleaning, although my glass needs a weekly water change. I wish the wave modes were much better so I could get a second block on the opposite side and run both (on) / left only / right only / both outside of the loop. I also don't have reverse gear in any mode.
