The controller stopped working in less than 72 hours, was not working properly and was not responding to mode/speed changes. I do not recommend this particular model. I return to my Jebao SW 20.

I use two in my RedSead 350 (96 gallon tank). I've got them both running on the lowest settings and it's great. Great current, all my corals are happy and 1/4 the cost of brand name. The instructions are terrible and it lights up when you try to connect the controller box while the device is on. So be careful. This is the reason for 4 stars as I think it's a big security issue.

Surge controller worked right out of the box, at the lowest flow rate it's still blowing my 40 breeder. I don't think the controller is working properly. I also noticed that several large sparks fly out of the connector when connecting and disconnecting. crap, i'm sending it back. Maybe I'll roll the dice on the Jebao SOW series pump, if it's a failure I won't do it a third time.

I'm not the type to leave negative feedback but I'm very disappointed in this company/product. I used to buy Jabao pumps because I knew they wouldn't last many years because I knew they were cheap for a reason. However, this model is not much cheaper than a well-known brand and has been working for LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. I emailed the company regarding this issue with no response. One of my three Jabao pumps is running. I will no longer support this company in the future.

This pump has only been used for 2 months and the dial that controls the pump duration does not work at all. The button that controls the mode also stopped working, so I turned off the power at the connection point to the control unit. When I plugged it back in, it glowed for a long time. Not cool. The swivel was used on a fragmentation tank and died 2 days into the 30 day return window and about 27 days after it was set up. It was loud and it seemed like a fog siren was going off somewhere in the distance but it was just an annoying buzzing, didn't care knew it was cheap but it worked. Two weeks and it's working great. I run it between 30-50% on my 75g salt water. I was able to remove the 525 GPH power head and still double the flow. I use feed mode more often than I could. However, wave modes are not very good. I use constant mode because the wave pulses are so close together that I'm afraid the motor will wear out quickly.
