I bought this cable to make an Oculus Rift headset interconnect cable

I bought this cable to make an Oculus Rift headset interconnect cable and it works as intended. I tested the CableCreation cable and it worked, but I saw a few complaints about "noise" in their reviews. This worried me that it might be because the content set I was using to test it didn't cause any noise issues, and I will recognize these issues sometime later. I suspect that the cause of these issues is more on the USB 3.0 port side. The maximum cable length supported by the USB 3.0 specification is 3 meters, and some USB ports are not strictly compliant. This is a try as I liked the flatter design of the repeater which would work well for me to connect to the HDMI repeater to be assembled. (Apparently most HDMI connectors that come with graphics cards are out of spec and don't reach the 50ft the standard was designed for.) Update: I'm hearing "noise" with this cable :)) I decided me to test it thoroughly, suggesting that I may have missed "noise" issues with the CableCreation cable. and I hear "noise" with this cable from Cable Matters. I don't hear noise in games but when I watch something with music I hear noise like noise. I will test the same with CableCreation to see if I get the same symptoms. big enough noise from the CableCreation cable that I didn't miss it. The difference to my environment from previous tests is an additional Oculus sensor and an additional webcam. This noise manifestation might be consistent with my initial hypothesis that USB ports are the root cause. I assume I've reached the number of devices plugged into the USB ports, which may cause voltage or current drops. As a final conclusion, I can at least say that Cable Matter's cable seems to be sturdier (probably draws less power), and you have a better chance of silently plugging in your Oculus headset. I'll probably need to look for a USB 3.0 card to add more USB 3.0 channels to my computer.
