Great hub, great value

I'm an IT manager looking for a reasonably priced USB-C hub that has all the ports most power users need. I used to buy a Lenovo USB-C docking station for my users that cost five times as much as this Falwedi triple display. For this review, I'm using a Lenovo ThinPad T480 with Windows 10. I have a 4K and a 1080p device. external monitors, Transcend SDXC UHS-1 128 GB Speed Class 3 memory card, Lexar 256 GB Micro SDXC 667x UHS-1 A2 V30 Speed Class 3 card, 64 GB Lexar USB 2.0 flash drive and two Diskgo USB 3.0 flash Drives 16GB. I connected the power adapter that came with my T480 to the hub's USB-C port and the hub to my T480's USB-C power port. My laptop is charging, which means the laptop is getting power. First of all, it is important that the hub works with minimal user intervention. And it is. My users are not tech savvy and I will not provide them with a hub that requires drivers to be installed. I first connected a 4K monitor via HDMI, no problem, my laptop recognized the monitor and I can use both the laptop monitor and the 4K monitor. I then connected a 1080p monitor also via HDMI. All three monitors work, but perhaps due to the limitations of my Thinkpad T480 (512MB VRAM), all three monitors are limited to 1920x1080 resolution. I didn't use the VGA connection because I don't have a monitor with a VGA connection. Since all monitors worked, I connected all 3 flash drives and sdxc cards. No problem, they are all defined. Next, I decided to copy the 1GB file to all devices. I repeated the test 3 times. The times are listed below: On Diskgo: 46 seconds. Very old drive and not the fastest. To transcend the SDXC card: 17 seconds. On Lexar micro sdxc: 14 seconds. Very Fast To Lexar Micro SDXC with SDXC adapter and connected to onboard T480 card reader: 15 seconds. I didn't bother with a USB 2.0 stick as I don't think anyone would buy one. A Lexar micro sdxc card while playing a 4K movie recorded with a DJI camera. Copying the same 1GB file took 20 seconds. Obviously, the USB-C bandwidth is shared between the 4K monitor and the Lexar Micro-SDXC card. I tested the RJ45 LAN port and did a speed test with Comcast. My internet is not very fast and the maximum speed is around 85 Mbit/s inbound and 5 outbound. I achieved the same speed with a T480 with a built-in LAN port. But the most important thing is that the LAN port is working. The final test was the 3.5mm audio jack. For the test I used my Sony WH-1000XM2. I could hear static when nothing was playing. But the static noise isn't noticeable when I'm playing Youtube videos, so there was no problem playing music or videos. I did the troubleshooting and found that the static noise is coming from the power supply that is connected to the hub. Therefore, you have to decide whether you want to connect only one cable or two cables (power supply) to your laptop. If you have a tiny desktop, this isn't a problem as the desktop has its own power supply. Can't comment on durability as I've only had it for a short time, but the hub didn't get hot during my tests. I am very satisfied because the hub works great and costs only a fraction of the price of a Lenovo USB C hub. Add to that the very compact size and you have the perfect companion. Highly recommended.
