We used to always use diapers for our children and this year we've done it again for our newest ones. We actually had diapers from a few years ago that our children's grandparents had, so they gave them to us to use with our youngest since they were little. I also bought a new pack of diapers and after using them they turned out to be nowhere near the quality I remembered in terms of softness or absorbency. This prompted me to compare old nappies from a few years ago (2016/17 at least) to new ones I just bought and I am amazed at how much they have reduced the quality in a few years. Needless to say I was looking for a new diaper and when I stumbled upon them a review with photos comparing the absorbency between them and diapers etc convinced me to try them. I'm so glad I did because these are the best diapers we've found and they compare to what I remember old diapers used to be before they went down in quality. They are soft and absorbent and the design is minimal but ok. I will only use them in the future and never go back to diapers.
