Let me start by saying that if you're not a drummer these headphones will suit you better. Here are some important things to know: 1. They are very bright. I had to use the EQ to roll off the high frequencies. 2. Sit comfortably in the ears. 3. They are very noisy from the start. So if you need a lot of volume because you're hard of hearing, that's great. 4. They didn't offer enough external noise cancellation for me (as a drummer) to keep them on. I have regular A cymbals in a not particularly busy room and just couldn't adequately cancel out the cymbal hiss (no mic). Music volume without cranking the music to dangerous levels (yes, I stuffed them all the way up my ear canals, and yes, I tried different sizes of ear tips). So that's the only reason I'm sending them back. If you're not around the cymbals or your setup isn't very noisy, they're likely to suit you and they're a fantastic price. But if you're a drummer with hearing intact, they'll probably be too loud/porous for you.
