As someone who never wears heels because they're impractical in my life, I knew they weren't going to be comfortable. They weren't the worst at all, but man I'd rather be comfortable than posing for pictures and smiling through predictable agony. Anyway I usually wear an 8.5 in regular shoes but I can be a 9 in boots. However, I ordered these two sizes to see which one fits better. Size 8.5 fitted well, but with such a curved foot and heel shape, it wasn't so good. I tried 9 and it fits much better. I looked at my feet and the little holes in the design made it look like I had real camel toes (yes, my feet looked like camel toes) and I couldn't see it at the time. In that moment I had had enough and I jumped into my heavenly abodes and never looked back. The shoes aren't to blame, it's just my personal preference.
