What have I done without?

After years of using old meat thermometers, this is not difficult at all! Pull the "needle" down and stick it into a chicken, fish, steak, whatever and get an instant temperature reading. I also use it in casseroles and baked vegetable dishes. I turn them on when I open them and turn them off when I close the "needle" again. Magnetic so it sticks to the side of my microwave where I can always find it. This is one of those little things that will be a good Christmas present for your friends and family. Ideal for outdoor barbecues.
