I saw some good reviews and decided to buy this product. Came in an open package. It was very difficult for me to get these devices to work even though I'm well versed in all electronics. The receiving part seems to have some issues, is powered by itself, might not turn on at all from time to time. The channel selector seems to only have 3 positions on the receiver when it should have 4 positions like on the transmitter (just a broken switch). I have surround speakers that are not connected to a power source. So once I got everything working, the sound was nowhere near as high pitched as what I get when connected to an audio amp. Now I'm not sure if it's the product itself or just a defective receiving unit. Last but not least, and probably most important to most of us, THIS 5GHz home WiFi MUTE that just disappeared from the WiFi list and stopped working. I wonder if this can damage your router with prolonged use. Too bad I can't return this item as I threw away the packaging. I hope my review helps the next buyer. I would say keep looking.
