The receiving part seems to have some issues, is powered by itself, might not turn on at all from time to time. I was really hoping this would work for my small kitchen TV. The channel is on my main TV, almost a meter away from it (on the other side of the drywall). Both devices are switched on and the antennas point towards each other. I checked three times that the AV connectors are in the right places. I bought these 5.8GHz video/audio transmitters to replace some old 2.5GHz transmitters. The Nyrius NY-GS10 system works quite well. It was nice not having interference from microwaves. I always had to turn my old VCRs off when using the microwave, but with these systems, that's not necessary.
