This setup is a cat back. In a great way. plug and play Both the reception and the long-distance extension are perfect. We are going through a major renovation and have had to live in our 5 wheeler camper for almost a month. We broadcast more than 100 minutes from the satellite receiver upstairs in our bedroom. That means the signal had to go through 2 interior walls, the exterior wall, 100 feet and the aluminum wall of the RV. Picture and sound were as good as if we were connected directly to the receiver itself. We're partially back in house now and using it in our 'temporary' LR and it's still great. This is probably one of the best purchases I've made. was ever made. Never again will I have to pull a cord when my wife decides to remodel the house. Score one for me!
