Honest review from someone who didn't want a $10 gift card

Now that I have this fan there are suddenly 150 five star reviews. It could have something to do with the $10 gift card the company is promising for reviews. The fan is a good idea, but poorly implemented. Yes, fans move the air a bit, but to me they can't even affect Florida's 103-degree heat index. Looking for a boost in a slightly warm AC room? It will work. The problem lies in the design. The fan handles sat right on my collarbones, so it was like a pair of electric toothbrushes strapped to my shoulders. Vibrations at high speeds are not comfortable. You can adjust them a bit, but if you move at all they will eventually touch you again. Second, you have a warm to hot battery pack around your neck, which really negates the cooling effect. While it's by no means difficult, it will put a noticeable strain on your neck. Your chiropractor will be happy to see you if you use this thing regularly. Finally, the warm, heavy battery lasted less than 3 hours with a mix of mids and highs. Not as advertised. Mine goes back to Revain. This is my honest review. You can keep your $10.
