I'm a very picky person and I'm almost never satisfied, but this purchase has made me very happy. This purchase ticked all the right boxes. Inexpensive, great tech, the screen, albeit with some edge effect, is amazing for the price. IPS is great. And the backlight is nice - not quite on par with a professional photo editing monitor (which uses RGB LED or RB LED or RG LED or GB LED instead of WLED [white LED] which is just a blue LED with a yellow phosphor and usually looks awful). Although the backlight is most likely WLED, the screen is very responsive and may have used a better phosphor to separate light into colors than typical low-end consumer monitors. The GSYNC and FreeSync ability is great! 144 frames per second for gaming is enough! ELMB is nice to have, but it cannot be used simultaneously with FreeSync/Gsync functions and results in a darker image as half the refresh rate is wasted in black frames between frames. I prefer full brightness with FreeSync/Gsync of ELMB feature. Full brightness is quite good, very comfortable, but still dimmer than what I would like from the device, but for the price it's perfectly fine. The sRGB mode is amazingly accurate in my opinion. I haven't measured it with a colorimeter, but it seems fine.
