Before buying, I studied video intercoms extensively. This video intercom works very well. I installed it at the front gate which is about 150 feet from my house. I used a Wi-Fi range extender to make sure the connection is correct. The image and video quality is excellent. "Chime" sits in my window across from the video doorbell and works every time, even at that distance. I put in a new 32GB micro SD card and set the motion sensor recording to record at 30 second intervals. After 46 30-second HD videos, I only used 0.3GB of card space. It also works great when I'm not on my WI-FI network. I get all notifications and can watch recordings and live broadcasts on mobile data. The night vision is clear and the motion sensor works great. With five different levels of motion detection, it can be set to activate remotely. Setup is easy thanks to the included instructions. The only issue I've found is that sometimes when I log into the app after exiting the app, it won't connect to the video intercom. Solution: Delete the app by closing it from storage and reopening the app. Works every time.
