This extension works with Prismacolor Premier pencils
I used a few other extensions; The size was incorrect for Prismacolor base pens. The length of this product is suitable for my small hands; the width is also small, which of course suits the colored pencils I prefer. The size may not be suitable for large hands. I do not know. To fit a pencil into this chartpack extension you must start by pulling the spacer down the metal sides towards the stem; Place the pencil in the flared side pieces, then slide the collar back up onto the flared pieces. There seems to be enough room for us to use the entire pencil to the last 1/2 or 1/4 inch; I do not know yet. Holds without much tension. i order more
