Due to the BIOS, my Ryzen 5 3600 was running below factory speed and only consuming 50% at 90C. Works fine if you disable Core Boost in BIOS, now runs normally at 4.2GHz at 77C under load. In addition, the RAM does not operate at a higher frequency than 2133 MHz during the first boot. This has led to me digging into the EZ Debug LEDs on a number of occasions as I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why it's not loading. Then, like magic, it happened with no change because the mobo figured out that the RAM was running faster than it was allowing and overclocked it. The inclusion of A-XMP allowed the RAM to work with normal characteristics (3200 MHz). Other than that, it works great and PCIE NVMe works amazing. I'm upgrading this rating to 1 star because I've tried different brands of PCI-e Wi-Fi cards on this board and none of them come close to matching the default speeds of the actual rating. The best I could get was 150Mbps and after trying several brands I can say that these are definitely the PCI-e slot drivers on this board. The BIOS is also in its latest iteration, which "improves PCI compatibility". Will be returned and MSI no longer used in this price range.
