As a marathon runner in the late 80's, Azura ST was my favorite shoe for both road racing and training. I think I bought 4 pairs in the late 80's/early 90's. If I remember correctly, they were reintroduced a year or two after they were discontinued in the early 90's. Fast forward to this 30th anniversary release, it's still a good shoe but it doesn't run exactly like it did in the late 80's. They dig in or tilt the foot too far in and aren't as narrow. I could be too. The cushioning is excellent. It's made of slightly different materials because they don't smell like band aids like they did in the 80s. However, this is a good running shoe for people who actually use it for running.
