Good shoes but not sure if they are exactly the same as the late 80's model

As a marathon runner in the late 80's, Azura ST was my favorite shoe for both road racing and training. I think I bought 4 pairs in the late 80's/early 90's. If I remember correctly, they were reintroduced a year or two after they were discontinued in the early 90's. Fast forward to this 30th anniversary release, it's still a good shoe but it doesn't run exactly like it did in the late 80's. They dig in or tilt the foot too far in and aren't as narrow. OK with casual jeans

I bought these to wear in my daily life when I run errands because the price was $30 when I received them in January 2020. I don't use them for running or working out in the gym, I use my $100 Saucony ISO Hurricanes for that. However, I bought them in size 9 and they fit perfectly. I buy 9.5 wide Hurricanes because my feet stretch when I run. I recommend these for a casual Friday denim look and you want something different from the traditional Nike and Adidas sneakers.
