I wish I had bought this years ago. I no longer have to catch my phone if it jumps out of the holder while I'm on the go. Attach it to the RAM Desk laptop mount in my truck. Added double ball adapter and 2.42" x 1.75" flat end arm. Between two hands and a dual-ball adapter, I can position my phone in the optimal position for driving. Spasmodically better than any mount I've used in a car. I am currently using a Samsung Note 9* phone with an Otterbox Defender case (which is a rugged case). The only issue I had was aligning the phone on the mount so it doesn't press any buttons. It takes a little practice, but it's doable. That's all. My only problem (that I solved).
