When my split video signal appeared at one end in a fancy palette of colors, my first thought was how often that video signal went through the mixers "distorted". and HDMI baluns on the way to the projector. Cheaper equipment was used along the way, and I knew I needed better gear, so Kramer was my second thought. It never disappoints. I replaced the existing DA with a VM-2HXL, knowing that the quality of the outgoing signals would be the same as the incoming since it is a Kramer unit. It did for me. I didn't have to replace any other components and the signal to the projector has been flawless ever since. First, buy a Kramer. Doing less is money down the drain.
