Didn't change the tone of my hair at all. My hair is almost gray now and I lighten and tone at home, but I usually use a mask between bleaching and toning sessions to get the silvery look I want. I ran out of a store bought Garnier mask called Cool Blonde so decided to buy this mask and matrix as well as the silver shampoo and conditioner. I've tried them all 3 together, exactly as directed in the instructions, step by step at a discount over the past month and a half and there is literally no difference in my hair. I've seen more changes in my tone with the Garnier mask and that's saying something. I would not recommend it nor would I buy it again.
