Warm and, as far as I can tell from my 7 year old, comfortable, very wide although the velcro doesn't seem like that much adjustable also i didn't realize that even the Red Spider "Boys" variant would include sequins on the front of the toe but they were needed for a trip and it was too late and the sequins are falling out too which is annoying is, even my son didn't want the sequins on boots. They also kept his feet warm and dry in the snow.
