When first started up with fresh batteries, the device worked as expected. One cat might even have been shocked when we left the room - heard him hurry up and run away. The unit didn't work the next day so I replaced the batteries thinking I had left it on for too long. But even with new batteries, the device only flashes and beeps loudly and repeatedly. No attempt to restart the device was successful and the included instructions were not helpful in troubleshooting. It's outside the return window and there was no way to contact the seller. I'm hoping for a response when I post this review.
