Buy this bag. I took it on a recent road trip and the bag has held up well to multiple flights, hikes and walks around town. Generally excellent material, no signs of wear have been found. I also like that you can easily pull out the camera without removing the backpack. The main benefit I didn't think of was how easy it was to get through TSA at the airport! I just pulled out the bottom tray with everything in it and it went through the scanner with no problems. My camera and lenses stayed in the Soft Cube the whole time, so I didn't have to worry about the camera sliding around in the TSA panniers. a 75-300mm lens in the lower pull-out tray (and even extra filters) making changing lenses very easy throughout the day. I want my flash to fit on the bottom as well, but it fits fine on the top and I have plenty of room after adding a few batteries, an external hard drive, and snacks. Divider inside the bag and remove the bottom compartment so you can use the backpack like any other bag. This was a real benefit when traveling as I didn't have to lug around a separate backpack for regular use.
