For the price, I couldn't ask for anything better in terms of quality. I was impressed with the weight of the base. Everything is metal except for the microphone holder and the screw grip. The turnbuckle is metal and the shaft turnbuckle is plastic (microphone and pop filter added by me). The product is durable and works great with my wireless microphone. Once you have the stand installed, that's all. Yes I recommend this stand for a standard desktop with regular mics and it comes with an adapter nut for these Yeti mics. Good buy!
