Upgraded with metal base and affixed with 4 non-slip cottons, moving the desktop microphone stand without causing any noise and leaving any scratches on the table. Our base diameter is bigger and weight of stand has been increased as heavy as 840g(1.85lb) so it won’t be knocked over very easily; the desktop microphone stand is adjustable from 10.6” to 15.4” height. Other's snap-in style stand may loosen after a long time, while our screw-in style stand is much more secure and tight, making sure the height stays on without sliding down. Does exactly what I need, very strong

For what I paid I'm very happy with it. It's durable and fairly sturdy without taking up much desk space. The clamping and height adjustment work great. It's much better than my old (and more expensive) tripod. My old one was very wide but kind of wobbly and had a fancier height adjustment bar that slowly slid down over time. This one is very basic and nothing fancy, but it does what I need it to do and does its job very well. My microphone always stays in place.

Works and looks great with Blue Snowball.

I don't find the portable tripod that comes with the Blue Snowball very useful. It's too short. However, the Snowball works great with this adjustable stand, which places the mic at a very comfortable and functional height. Also, it looks very stylish with retro style (see photo with original tripod stand for comparison). For the price, I couldn't ask for anything better in terms of quality. I was impressed with the weight of the base. Everything is metal except for the microphone holder and the screw grip. The turnbuckle is metal and the shaft turnbuckle is plastic (microphone and pop filter added by me). The product is durable and works great with my wireless microphone. Works great with the Zoom H2 Digital Recorder with one small modification!

I needed a stand that was compatible with the Zoom H2 digital recorder as it consistently delivers better sound quality than the USB mics I've tried.
