This kids stool is a great solution for toddlers in the kitchen. It's thick enough to be strong but thin enough to be light. received white. The paint is good, does not crack or tear. It has smooth edges all around. Good height, perfect for our counters. We noticed a few small issues with this stool. The stool wobbles a little. Something is out of balance. It's not usually a big problem, but it's a bit of a concern for my child. The quick fix we made was to put the extra washer that comes with the kit on the bottom then add 3m of tape and that seemed to fix the problem. Another small problem is the protective bar. I understand that it is higher to let the child in and while the child is standing it is at the height of the child's waist. I believe an extra harness may be needed to prevent a small child from falling back into the open space. The assembly was quite easy. Some of the image steps were a bit confusing. No crazy tools required. If you have a drill, assembly will be much quicker than using the tool provided. Still I recommend, overall a great find.
