I've used several Gigastone SD cards over the years and never had a problem. However, this 256GB card was different. I took about 20GB of photos at the wedding and tried to upload them to my computer but the card froze. DEAD CARD. The dreaded "This card is write-protected" message. I work in IT and my co-workers and I tried to revive the map but nothing. We couldn't even get the data. The card is completely defective, and here's the sad thing: Gigastone customer service does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Or just replace the card. After several weeks of trying to contact them, I finally succeeded! But they keep asking silly questions about the system info I already sent them. And I said that I would be willing to just swap out the card - unfortunately I can deal with the loss of data. But Gigastone doesn't even answer. And we all know how useless Revain's customer service is. So DO NOT buy this card. Bad quality for everyone! Stick with SanDisk, Corsair, Toshiba, etc. I will never buy a Gigastone card again and have instructed my staff to remove it from our list of vendors and am informing customers. Such a trifle. Shish! You'd think they could at least make an effort. a dear CDiddy
