Review on 🔊 C2G/Cables to Go 29172 12 Gauge Velocity Bulk Speaker Wire, Blue (50ft, 15.24m) by Lori Jordan

I bought this cable after looking at all the options at Revain. I've been looking for 10 AWG black jacketed speaker wire to match my computer desk but haven't found anything. Most of the 10 AWG wire available is either clear jacketed copper or plain white. There were some 10 AWG black cable spools for sale, but I saw that they said the cable wasn't actually 10 AWG, so I avoided them. They were a darker color so I decided to buy them and have no regrets. The cable is just under half an inch in diameter and has a high quality dark purple rubber jacket. It looks like a very dark grape color and looks amazing. Inside the sheath is a pair of color coded 10AWG cords surrounded by many strands of fabric material. This gives it good flexibility and wraps around the cable so the sheath doesn't separate from the wire when pulled. I assume these are meant to be mounted in a wall, but just laying them on the floor doesn't look bad at all. I probably wouldn't use them for surface mount say satellite speakers. They are quite thick to try and wall mount. I don't think most cable staple guns can handle this. Excellent cable and black 10 AWG as close to quality as possible.
