According to the seller, this may not work on some systems due to their configuration. However, I tried it on a system that is listed as working (which is why I bought it). I also tried this on a Razor Blade 17 2020 model, Thinkpad T490. It shows that the device is faulty and not working on these computers. All other computers do not display the image even though they have the latest BIOS, graphics drivers, Thunderbolt and USB drivers. installed with updated Windows. The device was further tested in Mint Linux 19 and Mint Linux 20, also shows that it is buggy and the drivers are installed correctly. Multiple cables to the device showing 3 wires all crossing with the device is false advertising, this clearly doesn't work. Will return the item.
