I do a lot of hard DIY reinstalling retail fixtures so I keep snagging, bumping, crushing and tarnishing on the ring ornament and I mean the real one cannot wear engagement ring as it is 100 years old and cannot be replaced. This particular ring was already broken, had light scratches and was tarnished from the use of detergents and chemicals. None of the stones fell out and the ring didn't bend, which was a big problem with previous rings. I'm glad he withstood the abuse. The band still shines, as do the stones. I would say it's pretty solid. and worth buying.
